- To start off we have this really cool 1966 Gretsch Silver Duke guitar in good condition for its age. The guitar plays and sounds amazing. The pickups are super clear and articulate! The guitar has aged beautifully and has some chipping and checking as seen in photos. Aside from being a very cool and rare vintage guitar, it was owned by Neko Case and raffled off March 18, 2011 to benefit 826 National which provides free tutoring and literacy programs to more than 24,000 students in eight cities nationwide. The guitar was the 4th place prize in the raffle and was signed by many celebrities -Michael Stipe (REM), Black Thought, Jimmy Fallon, John Wesley Harding, T Bone Burnett, Britt Daniel (Spoon), and many more!
