The lead off single, "I Saw Her Again", reached number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 11 in the UK Singles Chart. The song was especially unique because of its origins. Written in vain by John Phillips in 1966 after the other male in the group had an affair with his wife Michelle Phillips all of them pictured below further creating tension in band contributing to the break up later on."Words of Love" was released as the second single in the US peaking at number 5.
