1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with provenance!
This is a very cool guitar with a lot of history! 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in classic Cherry Sunburst. A fabulous guitar with the iconic 1972 embossed mini humbuckers, great weight at 9.8lbs for some of the heavier counterparts of these years, plays and sounds amazing! Classic Cherry Sunburst and beautiful, deep chocolatey brown fretboard. Comes with non original case, original Gibson hangtag, picture of owner in band promo, obituary of owner and unknown cassette and other things like pitch pipe, finger pics and string winder! The owner played in a band called "Tommy George & The Fabulous 50's as seen in the included glossy band photo. This guitar checks all the boxes for a nostalgic collector! The guitar is setup with 10's and ready to be played! The neck has had what looks to be a finish/ neck crack repair that has been touched up, smooth finish and structurally sound with no voids (Please see pics). Frets are in good shape, a little low but plenty of life left in them. Keep the legacy of this instrument and owner alive with a new home, thanks for looking!
