Up for sale is a stunning, collector-grade 2011 PRS USA Core DGT (David Grissom Tremolo) in a rich, vintage-inspired Tobacco Sunburst finish. This specific instrument (Serial Number: 11182044) is the ultimate player’s guitar, beautifully capturing more than two decades of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and Texas tone legend David Grissom.
Crafted during a highly desirable era of Maryland production, this DGT combines traditional McCarty DNA with Grissom's personal performance upgrades. It features a meticulously carved maple top paired with a resonant mahogany back and a solid one-piece mahogany neck. The premium rosewood fingerboard comes upgraded with the highly coveted PRS outline Bird inlays, striking an elegant contrast against the classic sunburst finish.
What truly sets the DGT apart is its matchless ergonomics and electronics. The proprietary DGT neck carve is slightly narrower at the nut for a perfect handful, paired with taller jumbo fret wire that makes wide vibrato and big bends completely effortless. Under the hood, the custom-voiced DGT humbuckers deliver everything from fat, vintage-PAF heat to chimney, Texas-blues single-coil spank via individual volume pots and a push/pull master tone coil tap.
Condition: Excellent, original condition with very minimal play wear. Frets have tons of life left, the neck is straight, and all electronics operate flawlessly. Includes the original PRS deluxe hardshell case and case candy.
